Chinese Bridge Contestants Experience Yuanjiazhai Tujia Ethnic Minority Culture“汉语桥”选手走进袁家寨 体验少数民族文化

7月18、19日,第十七届“汉语桥”世界大学生中文比赛脱颖而出的全球15强选手分为三组,分别前往“青岛海水稻中心”“张家界武陵源区”以及“科大讯飞”进行文化游学体验。来自亚洲的古义格、非洲的邓肯、大洋洲的司腾、美洲的保罗以及来自欧洲的齐善欣五名选手从长沙出发,前往张家界武陵源区开启游学体验之旅。
From July 18th to 19th, the top 15 contestants of the 17th "Chinese Bridge" Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students paid a two-day study tour to such places as "Qingdao Sea Rice Research and Development Center", "Wulingyuan Scenic Area" and "iFLY TEK".

Asian contestant Gu Yige, African contestant Duncan, Oceanian contestant Stern, American contestant Paul, and European contestant Qi Shanxin joined the trip to Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan Scenic Area.

张家界武陵源区热情的土家族阿妹邀请选手们去袁家寨做客,选手换上土家族民族服饰,化身土家族“阿哥阿妹”,参观袁家寨子的民族特色建筑、民族工艺品展示等。选手还参观了土家碾坊,体验老牛拉磨,使用土家族农具尝试榨油,在摆手堂前品尝自己辛苦打好的糍粑,感受曾经土家族人民的淳朴和当时的岁月。
After being invited by hospitable and enthusiastic Tujia Amei (girl) to visit Yuanjiazhai, they put on Tujia nationality costumes, visited ethnic architecture, and appreciated ethnic handicrafts. At local style mill, they experienced pushing stone mill, and using Tujia’s farming tools to squeeze oil, and tasted Ciba (glutinous rice) made by themselves. Through these activities, they have better understanding of the simple life of the Tujia minority people.

游学期间,选手们感受了许多中国古老的传统文化,也见识了很多新鲜的事物,收获颇丰。选手们纷纷表示愿意成为中华文化的传播者和使者,把文化游学体验的所见所闻分享给身边更多的人,增进中国与世界各国的友好情谊。
During the study tour, they were exposed to colorful traditional Chinese cultures and saw a lot of fresh things. They gained a lot from the tour. They said that they would love to become the ambassadors of Chinese culture to share what they have learned  from the tour with those around them, and contribute to enhancing the friendship between China and other countries.
