The 2010 Central China (Hunan) International Agricultural Expo, acclaimed as a bridge of communication & cooperation and a grand feast of modern agriculture, drew its curtain on Nov. 24 with fruitful results. The week-long expo attracted more than 1 million visitors with the total transaction volume reaching 14.828 billion yuan (including contract and cash transactions).

The exhibiting enterprises were featured by high level, large scale and top brand. Among the Hunan-based factories and green food producers passing the national certification, a group of leading enterprises in agriculture industrialization at state, provincial and city level fully displayed the gratifying achievements in agricultural restructuring and agriculture industrialization of Hunan.

At the summarizing and commeding meeting held on the same day, 118 products won the golden prize, 19 participants the organizational award and 16 organizers the best award.

中部农博会圆满落幕 交易金额突破148亿元

      “2010中国中部(湖南)国际农博会”被誉为“交流合作”的桥梁,“现代农业”的盛宴。历时一周的农博会,满载着丰硕的成果,于11月24日胜利降下帷幕。本届农博会参展参会人数高达百万人次,实现交易金额148.28亿元(合同交易和现金交易)。

      本届参展企业出现档次高、规模大、品牌响的特点,全省通过国家认证的厂家和绿色食品中,一批国家、省、市级农业产业化龙头企业,充分展示了三湘农业结构调整、农业产业化建设的可喜成就。

      在今天召开的总结表彰大会上,评出了118个金奖产品、19个参展组织奖、16个最佳布展奖。

Twelve Agricultural Expos Popularize over 50,000 Agricultural Brands 12届农博捧红5万"农字号"



The 2010 Central China (Hunan) International Agricultural Expo lowered the curtain on Nov.24.

During the week-long expo, over 100,000 varieties of local specialties and products made their debut. Although there was no advertising or promotion campaign, these products attracted over 1 million customers snapping up with a transaction volume reaching 14.628 billion yuan. The statistics fully demonstrated the brand effect of the agricultural expo.

There were only around 20 agriculture-related leading enterprises at the provincial level ten years ago. However, the number has been quintupled nowadays. In addition, there are more than 20 leading enterprises in this line at the state level.

The expo has been held for twelve times in all, realizing a transaction volume of 137.108 billion yuan and boosting the development of more than 50,000 brands. The agricultural expo, an agricultural-product market a decade ago, has popularized numerous agricultural brands and fueled the conference and exhibition economy in Changsha.
